Caring for your Stainless Steel Sink

It’s very easy to take care of our stainless steel sink.

Overall, the most important thing to do is to keep it clean and wipe it dry after each use.

Your water may be rich in iron, minerals  or over softened. Keeping it clean and dry will avoid the formation of a brownish or whitish film on the surface of the sink.

Things to avoid:

  • When you’re not using it, DO NOT leave water, detergent residuals, sponges, clothes, cleaning pads inside the sink.  Again: keep it dry and clean after each use.

  • Common sense: do not use your sink as a chopping block or cutting board to avoid deep scratches.

  • Do not use steel wool pads to clean your sink. Overtime the particles of iron left on the sink will make it appear like it is rusting.

  • Like many metallic surfaces, your stainless steel sink will scratch. Since our sinks have a brushed finish, these usage scratches will eventually blend into the overall finish
